it’s my turn, i wanna talk too - i never get to do anything until the others are done coz i’m the omega but now i have Teddy and sometimes he lets me boss him around. but they were all hogging the puter and now its my turn. I’m TeeJay, which is short for Taylor Junior coz i look like my papa. but mommy has a bunch of other names for me like Bubba and Snuffy and sometimes BubbaSnuffy, but my favorite one is COOKIE. i also answer to Breakfast, Dinner, Biscuit, and Jerky Treat, which is why mommy calls me a stomach on feet. but she loves me the bestest of all, and i want to tell you why.

i have to tell you what a BRAVE dog i am. last fall, i saved mommy and the babies from a horrible slimy thing. when my baby brothers Gus and Teddy were about four weeks old, mommy let me and Taz out in the garden REALLY EARLY one Sunday morning while she got the noospaper. Taz went to go chase a bird, and i sniffed around looking for cookie crums or something else to eat. then i saw it - there on the sidewalk was a long dark THING. it was sort of moving and it was about as big as an ink pen, so i thought it would make a tasty snack and i tried to pick it up with my mouth. BLECCH! it tasted terrible so i spit it out and started barking at it to scare it away. mommy came running over coz she said i had on my "panic bark" and i was being as furoshuss as i could. when mommy saw what it was, she started laffing and she took me back inside so i wouldn’t wake the naybors. she said it was something called a S’lug, and that i was a brave boy to protect the house and the babies from it. it must have worked coz when i went outside with the babies later, that S’lug was GONE - i know, i even went right back to where it was and looked for it!

mommy says sometimes i’m not the brightest bulb in the lamp, but i showed her - i saved her from the S’lug and it never came back. but Gus finds pieces of S’lugs every now and then, and he likes to carry them inside to show mommy. so who’s not the brightest one? oops, i heard the biscuit box, gotta go!
